Letters were written to 2958 residents within 1km of the proposed park and the City received 317 responses.
All of the proposed features of the park were supported by at least 80 per cent of respondents.
Some respondents raised concerns about antisocial behaviour at the park and its close proximity to the Currambine Tavern.
The City has allocated just over $2 million to develop the park.
Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said it would be the biggest development of a park since the City of Joondalup’s inception.
