Now in its fourth year, Urban Couture has become a leading program in the Perth fashion calendar, bringing high-quality fashion to the northern region of Perth and displaying Joondalup as a cultural, fashion-forward destination.
Held at blend(er) Gallery, the launch featured parades by House of Skye and Natalie Rolt against the backdrop of pieces by fashion illustrator Mekel.
Designers Jonte Pike and Jessica Bratich spoke of the importance of the event and thanked the City of Joondalup for its involvement.
Bratich added the event was a wonderful platform for designers to showcase their pieces locally.
Labels also taking part in the two-week event include Scarborough swimwear Cenote Swimwear, SISS On Bare, 2Wink Australia, Natalie Rolt and Little Dove.
Ambassador Samantha Harris will headline a pop-up runway featuring Cenote Swimwear at Sorrento Beach, on Saturday March 22, while Edgewater milliner Debbie Kelly and designer Jessica Bratich will show their latest collections on Saturday, March 29 at the Galaxy Tent at 9pm.
