Headlining blues and roots duo The Audreys took to the stage with support acts Nathan Gaunt and Dilip N the Davs for the final concert on January 18 of the free summer series.

Earlier that day, the City also released its tickets for the 2014 Valentine’s Concert, with all 8000 tickets allocated to local residents within two hours.

The free concert The Music of Queen: A Rock and Symphonic Spectacular, which will be held at Joondalup Resort on Thursday, February 13, will feature four stars from the Australian and London’s West End productions of the musical We Will Rock You, a five-piece rock band and Perth Symphony Orchestra.

Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said there had been unprecedented demand for tickets to this year’s show.

‘The City’s annual Valentine’s Concert is undoubtedly one of the most popular free cultural events in the northern suburbs and this year’s show promises to be one of the best yet,’ he said.

Residents who secured tickets but cannot attend are asked to return their tickets to the City.
