The Research Solutions study found overall community satisfaction with the City remained high at 89.1 per cent.
Satisfaction rates with its services are also high, with more than 94 per cent of its residents happy.
Increased satisfaction levels were also recorded in areas such as graffiti removal, street appearance, festivals, events and cultural activities, management and control of traffic on local roads, community consultation and residential parking.
Other service areas such as libraries, sport and recreation centres, fortnightly recycling services, weekly rubbish collection and ranger services maintained high levels of community satisfaction.
More than 72 per cent of survey respondents felt they received value for money for their rates, up significantly from 2011-12, while 82 per cent of respondents agreed that the City had a good understanding of the community’s needs, up from 74.5 per cent.
The 2012-13 results were presented to the council at its October 8 meeting.
