Swinging to success: Banksia Grove PS to get monkey bars at playground through grant

CHILDREN at Banksia Grove Primary School will soon be swinging across the playground thanks to a grant.

The P&C has received the major share in Banksia Grove Village’s $3000 ‘Thoughts that count’ grant program, with other |portions going to Banksia Grove Playgroup and Joseph Banks |Secondary College.

Fundraising co-ordinator Lisa Peters said the grant would enable them to make “much-needed” school improvements.

“This money will help us to upgrade the school for our students with the installation of new monkey bars for the early learning area,” she said.
