Taking the plunge for breast cancer appeal

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

Jump for Jane started in 2013 after Breast Cancer Care WA board member Jane Loring lost her battle with cancer.

As the charity’s event and sponsorship coordinator, Mrs Sharp said participants in last year’s event inspired her to take part in 2014.

‘We met the inspirational Amy Drake, who did her jump to tick it off her bucket list despite being terminally ill with metastatic breast cancer. Amy has since sadly passed away, so we are now jumping in Amy’s honour and to raise much needed funds,’ she said.
