TAPPING resident Jenny Fleming is the first City of Wanneroo resident to sign up for this year’s Garage Sale Trail.

The City is encouraging households, schools, community groups and businesses to join others taking part in the October 22 campaign.

This year, organisers expect more than 13,000 garage sales to take place on the same day across the 150 participating local governments areas.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said the event was a way to declutter, meet neighbours and uncover bargains.
