THREE boys will be sentenced in November for the manslaughter and aggravated armed robbery of Duncraig teenager Quinn De Campe.
The offenders, aged 16 to 17, were initially facing murder charges in Perth Children’s Court, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter on Monday as part of a plea bargain.
A fourth boy will face a charge of aggravated armed robbery.
The court heard Quinn (16, pictured ) had met the boy, who was not charged with manslaughter, at a Balga park to buy marijuana on December 22. He led Quinn into the bush where the victim’s three attackers were waiting to steal the $175 he had on him to pay for the cannabis.
The trio became violent when he refused to comply with demands. Quinn suffered fatal brain trauma.
The ‘RIP Quinn De Campe’ Facebook page was updated on Tuesday, quoting ‘Give anything to hear half your breath, I know you (sic) still living your life, after death,’ from the Puff Daddy track I’ll Be Missing You.
