SHOW-GOERS will have plenty of opportunities to get their thrills at this year’s Wanneroo Show.

Five new rides will debut at the Show, including WA’s tallest ride the Star Flyer, the Super Sizzler and The Cliff Hanger.

WA Showmen’s Association spokesman Daniel Williams said he expected the latter to be very popular.

“This ride offers the experience of lying in a glider while having a controlled gliding flight,” he said.

“This is the first time this has been available at the Wanneroo Show.”

Other rides will include the Nitro, Samba Balloon and favourites such as the cup and saucer ride and mini ferris wheel.

Wanneroo Agricultural Society president Dot Newton said she looked forward to having the big rides return.

“Like most people I have great memories of sideshow alley,” she said.

The two-day event will also host more than 1200 competition classes in agriculture, horticulture, arts and crafts, photography and cooking.

– Wanneroo Show will be held from 4pm to 10.30pm on November 27 and 9am to 10.30pm on November 28 at Wanneroo Showground.
