Mark Donaldson, Joondalup WeekenderWanneroo Times

The two men accosted the victim (31) in the car park of Connolly Shopping Centre on Fairway Circle about 7.45pm on WA Day, June 3.

The man was inside his vehicle when they asked for a cigarette before knocking him to the ground with a punch to the head.

They stomped on his face while he lay on the ground, using so much force that the ‘Element’ branding of one the offenders’ shoes was left imprinted on the man’s face.
