Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail closed for Mitchell Freeway extension

For safety reasons, the trail is closed about 4km north of Burns Beach Road at the new Neerabup Road, where users must turn back, and at the northern and southern sides of Hester Avenue, with access via a detour from Wanneroo Road.

People wanting to cross Hester Avenue are detoured via the traffic lights at the Hester Avenue and Wanneroo Road intersection.

Underpasses will be installed at Neerabup Road and Hester Avenue to provide safe access to the trail, which will reopen mid-2017.
