Rail replacement buses operated from 10pm between Perth Underground and Stirling stations to allow technicians to complete work on a set of points near Stirling.
Spokeswoman Claire Krol said the points had caused delays early on Sunday morning and repairs were undertaken that night to avoid further disruptions.
