Treats for all tastes at Naidoc Week

The ceremony included a performance by Wadumbah Aboriginal Dance Group as well the chance to sample and learn about bush tucker from former Yanchep National Park ranger Jim Maher.

A flag-raising ceremony was also held, with the Australian, WA, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags hoisted by dignitaries. On Tuesday night Kyle Morrison performed a collection Shakespeare’s sonnets in traditional Nyoongar at the blend(er) gallery, followed by a musical performance by Clint Bracknell.
