READ NOWThe crowd – till then seated each side of the catwalk – followed the models and photographers across the Sorrento sand to watch final poses in local designers’ swimwear against the dying sun.
People were able to mingle and have their photographs taken with the models, including event drawcard Samantha Harris.
So often models exiting the runway with final waves and applause signals the end.
But this show’s community ending left folk looking forward to more next year and Sydney supermodel Harris spruiking its success.
‘This is so much fun,’ she told the Times. ‘Other states should do it’
