Uplifting message from male campus staff

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

The male Joondalup campus staff had, in fact, donned unique purple designer bras and strut their stuff on the catwalk all in the name of charity.

The event at ECU, in support of Purple Bra Day for Breast Cancer Care WA, has become an annual event at the university for the past five years.

After the runway show, the designer bras were auctioned to raise money for the event.

Students and visitors also entered raffles and bought homemade cakes and cupcakes with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care WA.

The WA charity provides emotional, practical and financial support to men and women affected by breast cancer as well as carers and family who have their own challenges through the experience.
