Vegie garden paying off for Marmion Primary School

Lucy JarvisWanneroo Times

FRESH food was the fare of the day when Marmion Primary School recently held a garden party barbecue.

Pre-primary teacher Kylie Harris said the school set up the Marmion Edible Garden (MEG’s) Patch this year and held the party with students, teachers, parents and community members who had helped set it up.

“We have been working with our buddy class once a week in the lead-up to our ‘Garden Party BBQ’,” she said.
