Wanneroo Senior Citizens Indoor Bowlers visited by Wannamal club

Held on October 23, the club social secretary Heather Hicks said the all- day bowling event was a fun-filled day for all.

‘Three times a year we visit three country clubs ” Wannamal, Bindoon and Toodyay ” and they in turn come and visit us through out the year,’ Ms Hicks said.

‘On this occasion we had bowlers from Wannamal visit us.

‘We bowl Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am till approximately 12 noon with a stop for morning tea about 10.30, then back to bowls and afternoon tea.’

Ms Hicks said joining the club was a great opportunity for local seniors to meet other like-minded individuals in the area.

‘We are always looking for new members for bowls and there are many other activities throughout the club every day of the week for seniors,’ she said.
