Hudson Park Primary School participated in the Heart Foundation’s Walk to School Day

Hudson Park Primary School Year 1 teacher Dean Gill said the school had recently become a travel smart school to raise awareness of physical activity and travel safety.

‘Walk to School Day has given us a great chance to raise awareness of these important issues, as well as the importance of the Heart Foundation to our community,’ he said.

The state-wide event is part of the Heart Foundation’s Walk Over October campaign to encourage everyone to have at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
