The event is raising money for Shree Trust’s Swami Parijnanashram Educational and Vocational Centre for the Handicapped in India.

Ms Vithanage and Bollywood Dance Studio have hosted fundraisers for the school over the past few years, raising a total of $7500, and with this event she hoped to surpass $10,000.

She encouraged people to be part of the feel-good day.

“You will make a change in your life and make a bigger change in other people’s lives,” she said.

Classes run from 8.30am and a dance fitness party kicks off at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost $50 for the full day or $15 for the dance party; email contact@bollyactive.com.
