JOONDALUP Detectives are investigating a series of commercial burglaries in Wangara and Landsdale yesterday afternoon.

WA Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said two people gained entry to a warehouse on Opportunity Street in Wangara about 12.50pm on October 1 and stole a Toyota Hilux parked inside.

One of the people police want to speak to.

“They have then attached a trailer carrying a quad bike to the Hilux, and driven out of the property through the security fence,” she said.

“Due to issues with the trailer’s brakes, the two then stopped and detached the trailer and bike in the middle of Competition Way before driving on.

“A short time later, the pair then used the car to force entry into a group of businesses on Fallon Road in Landsdale, including a plumbing company where they stole another Toyota Hilux.

“A number of businesses were targeted altogether, with the two gaining entry via the roller doors or security fences.

The missing vehicle has ‘On Tap Plumbing and Gas’ on it.

“The men then left the area in the stolen vehicle.”

The  vehicle, registered 1DVW 542, is still outstanding and has green writing ‘On Tap Plumbing and Gas’ on the side.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
