WANNEROO Council will take its meeting ‘on the road’ to Koondoola next week.

The May 7 council meeting will be held at Koondoola Community Centre rather than usual venue in the Wanneroo Civic Centre from 7pm, with deputations beforehand.

The meeting agenda includes a report on the proposed location of the southern suburbs library in Landsdale, and another on a proposal to hold a WAFL game at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex in August.

A concept plan for the Yanchep skate park.

The council will also consider reports on a child care centre proposal in Banksia Grove, a skate park in Yanchep, a tender for the Butler north sports facilities and marina parking changes in Mindarie.

Community News understands the council will also relocate its August meeting, to Splendid Park in Yanchep.

The last time the council held meetings on the road was in 2015 in the lead up to that year’s local government elections.

Tonight’s briefing session will be held in council chambers at the Wanneroo Civic Centre.
