WANNEROO Junior Motocross Club will hold its annual Kid of the Sand competition this Sunday.

The weekend is the highlight of the Pinjar Park track’s calendar, with organisers tipping it to be their best yet.

“WJMC has always been proud of the way it challenges its junior riders with differing track conditions in one race,” the website said. “However, these challenges have increased in intensity with the track modifications of 2017 making for more exciting racing for both two and four-wheelers.”

This year’s event will also see the introduction of the Holeshot Awards and overall race win trophy plates.

Raffle tickets will be available for $20, with all money raised going towards improving club facilities.
