THOUSANDS of people and their pooches enjoyed a fun day out at the City of Wanneroo’s Living and Leisure Expo featuring Dogs’ Breakfast on Sunday.

The family-friendly event held at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex in Madeley attracted a range of people, including gardeners, dog lovers, renovators and cooks, as well as a variety of canines.

Former My Kitchen Rules contestants Anna and Jordan Bruno performed live cooking demonstrations and Jordan said they had “an absolute ball”.

“It was such an honour being part of this annual event, meeting fans and sharing our love and passion for home-style food,” he said.

“I am obsessed with dogs, so it was magical being surrounded by so many furry faces having the time of their lives.”

Mayor Tracey Roberts said she was delighted to see the community enjoy the day.

“It was wonderful to see so many families and their pooches enjoying quality time together,” she said.

There was also a variety of activities for children, more than 90 exhibits for people to browse and dogs were able to strut their stuff in the Next Top Dog Model competition.
