WANNEROO model Alicia Tavani was recently named Miss Teen Australia Continents.
The 17-year-old said she entered the competition because it was “unlike most pageants”.

READ NOW“It has a stronger meaning behind is as it is promoting people to ‘be your own kind of beautiful’,” she said.
“It doesn’t just involve getting up on stage walking in fashion wear, swimwear and evening gown rounds but it’s about the impact you are able to make on your community.”
She will head to Sydney next month with the winners of the Mrs and Ms categories to meet with the pageant director and prepare for the next stage.
They will then fly to Las Vegas in June to compete for the world title against 15 other countries.
