Wanneroo murder: police still investigating

A member of the public notified officers about 9.50am after discovering the victim (39) off James Spiers Drive near Tyne Crescent.

Police media spokesman Sam Dinnison said forensic officers cordoned off a large portion of the area as they looked for clues.

“The area is a popular location for people walking, jogging and doing other forms of exercise, and detectives would like to speak to anyone who has been there in the last few days as they may be able to assist with establishing when the man was first present in the area,” he said.
