SIXTY City of Wanneroo volunteers have been recognised for their contributions.
The City hosted a dinner for the heritage and library services volunteers in Wanneroo, presenting seven people with Volunteer Excellence Awards.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said she appreciated their outstanding contributions to the community.
“We are proud of our volunteers and host these events as a small thank you for the continued service they provide,” she said.

Award recipients were Denise Phillips and Emma Jean Pritchard from Girrawheen Library, Wanneroo Library’s Alec Levy, Sjoukje Tarbox from Clarkson Library, Doreen Savage from Buckingham House, Wanneroo Gallery’s Rhonda Ballarine and Cockman House volunteer Bill Davis.
