The not-for-profit organisation's Veterans Home Care Program team members hosted the event at its Woodvale Social Club venue.
Chief executive Jenni Werner presented guests with the RSL Spirit of Anzac grevillea - a hybrid grevillea developed for the Returned and Services League of Australia that would bloom in time for Anzac Day. She said she heard many stories shared, ranging from a nurse receiving 15 marriage proposals in a week to those held prisoner in Burma and Europe.
