Wanneroo Civic Choir Remembers… will feature music popular during wartime years, sing-along tunes and songs from the choir’s repertoire, which ranges from pop classics to show music and patriotic Australian songs.

The choir, founded in 1982, is a four-part group of about 46 men and women that performs at Anzac Day and citizenship ceremonies, Carols by Candlelight in the Supreme Court Gardens and in its own concert each spring.

The concert will be held at the Alexander Heights community centre. Doors will open at 2.15pm, with the show from 2.30pm.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for tertiary and high school students and $5 for primary school students, with afternoon tea provided.

They will be available at the door or by contacting Glen Nippierd on 9307 6369 or nippvg@optusnet.com.au.

Part proceeds will go to Legacy to help support Australian families of veterans.

The choir meets every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Alexander Heights community centre.
