‘Each table provided the opportunity for liaison with relevant experts and for people to exchange comments and ideas with each other,’ a spokeswoman said.

‘Local residents were also encouraged to register their feedback at each table and on a communal feedback wall in the centre of the room.’

‘The open house was the first time the majority of local residents received detailed information about revegetation and development plans for the site.

‘Proposed designs for construction of the new advanced water recycling plant, only just received by the corporation, were also shared with the community.’

The spokeswoman said the corporation was committed to maintaining relationships with its neighbours and keeping them informed.
