President Vesna Sampson spoke of the growth of the association, which had been going since 1999, its three-year strategic plan and the opportunities for businesses in the growing City of Wanneroo.

She said the WBA aimed to double its membership of 236 by 2017, an achievable aim with 12,000 businesses in the City.

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts praised the WBA's work, its Wanneroo branding and said she was "so proud you're in our region".
