Weaving new bonds

The Sorrento students used seagrass to make the baskets with guidance from Aboriginal artist Sharyn Egan.

The College celebrated Naidoc Week, July 6 to 13, with special speakers and workshops.

Principal Peter Bothe said the college wished to raise awareness and knowledge of indigenous history and culture and build mutually respectful relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
