Wheely kind deed

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

Rotary helped ship a container of wheelchairs to the Burma Children Medical Fund for those born with birth defects or who lost limbs to landmines.

Without the wheelchairs, made by Wheelchairs for Kids volunteers, children have to drag themselves along or rely on parents to carry them.

Medical fund team member Jacqui Whelan was in Wanneroo recently to tell Rotarians about her organisation’s work.
