Donors will be able to visit the rebranded Edgewater blood donor centre " where the current Joondalup centre is at 57 Joondalup Drive " from August 17.
State acting donor services manager Kit Parker said they were being merged because the lease on the Whitford branch had expired and both centres were located close enough.
"With the capacity to expand in the future, the Edgewater blood donor centre will be better equipped to meet the needs of patients now and also cater for any future changes in demand for blood and blood products," Ms Parker said.
