Brett Gould was named winner of the young achiever of the year award while Mark Hills took out assessor of the year.

It was a record-breaking 2014-15 season for SLSWA, with volunteers setting a combined patrol record of more than 106,000 hours and another year of record club membership of 20,162.

Volunteers performed 625 rescues, administered 2252 first-aid treatments and performed 19,992 preventative actions an increase of more than 50 per cent over the previous season.
