The women are Wednesday morning regulars, joining others to share skills, work on projects and socialise at WHW in Joondalup.
‘Creativity, learning together, socialising, laughing and conversation keep this group alive,’ executive director Mandy Stringer said.
‘Many of the women are new to WA and it provides an opportunity for new social and support networks. The craft group makes wonderful small gifts, which are available for sale at very reasonable prices at WHW.’
