City of Wanneroo holds youth strategy workshop

About 85 students from 11 schools attended the December 9 workshop at the Wanneroo Civic Centre, which was part of the consultation and engagement for the first youth strategy.

Focus groups considered topics such as crime and safety, communication, graphic design, facility design, connection, future and wellbeing.

It followed the Yspeak consultation in 2014, when more than 1300 eight to 25-year- olds gave input about the services and wellbeing of young people in the City.
