World of wizardry revealed at Banksia Grove school feast

A NORTHERN suburbs school transformed into the Hogwarts grand hall for a Harry Potter-inspired feast this week

Banksia Grove Primary School teacher Jenny Ward said more than 600 students from Kindy to Year 6 and teachers dressed up and came together for the November 13 lunch.

Miss Ward said the school had several lunch-time clubs, including the senior ‘Harry Potter book club’.

“This is managed by myself and a number of very passionate Harry Potter fans,” she said.

“The children in the club wanted to share their enthusiasm with the whole school.

“We recently held a ‘sorting’ assembly were each class was sorted into their Hogwarts house, with our clever sorting hat choosing wisely and making sure each class fitted in with their house.”
