The 18-year-old last year took the national Clubman Lightkarting title and moved with his family from Kalgoorlie to concentrate on the next level of motorsport.

He also won Australian Rookie of the Year for Formula Ford.

Perth V8 Supercar star Garth Tander, who also cut his teeth on karts and Formula Ford, spotted Anthony’s talents and had been mentoring him for the past few months.
