Young students sow seeds in a box

Not-for-profit organisation The Greening Project visited students recently to see how they had progressed with the ‘nursery in a box’ project launched by the group this year.

Project manager Tiffany Voysey said the project helped engage students in education, the environment and community. Once the seedlings have grown, the students can decide whether to plant them at home in their own back yards, within the school grounds or elsewhere in the community.
