The St Mark’s Anglican Community School student has been singing since she first used a karaoke machine at the age of seven.

No stranger to performing, Amber has won first place at the Wanneroo Show Idol twice, the Joondalup Eisteddfod and has performed at community carols for the past three years.

‘I don’t really get nervous because I started at such a young age ” I have learnt to manipulate them (nerves) to my advantage,’ she said.

‘This year I will be singing a medley of two carols and another carol with The Australian Army Band.

‘It is an amazing opportunity.’

She will also perform at Crown Theatre’s Christmas concert tonight.

‘I would love to sing professionally and my goal is to perform on Broadway or the West End ” I’d love to go to WAAPA and do musical theatre,’ Amber said.
