I have previously attempted to resolve the issues with dog owners and through the council/rangers on many occasions to no avail.

Wanneroo council states it receives more complaints on this topic than any other ” yet it fails to tackle the problem or even highlight it in its paraphernalia.

As it stands, present legislation proves extremely difficult in resolving such issues.

I understand that the Dog Act legislation is in the process of being amended.

Therefore, I ask if the Times is able to publish an article and highlight the issue and legislative proposed changes in an attempt to raise awareness and help to force nuisance barking dog owners to be more responsible and accountable.
