Their main training is as pen pusher grade 1 onward and their main object is baffle us with science and if that doesn’t work they revert covering us with bull…t.
As to councillor and mayoral remuneration, I am staggered because I spent a three-year term on a country council where our reward was lunch once a month paid for by council. Apart from that, we took a day off work and paid our own transport costs.
Public servants in general seem quite OK but by hell, they breed fast.
