Cheer up – it prevents you from carrying for the rest of your life the guilt of having killed or maimed someone because you had a “seniors’ moment” behind the wheel.
It is hard, but it is not done out of hate but rather from a need to protect society from those judged not able to drive safely.
Sorry, but it had to happen to protect everyone. It will, I expect, happen to me soon enough: some say it is overdue already.
