PAUL Miles’ comments as reported in the recent article headlined “Mayor and MP clash over growth plan” are extremely misleading and do not reflect the facts.

Anyone who reads the detail of the recently released MRS East Wanneroo Amendment would understand that the Environmental Protection Authority agreed to let the Amendment be released for public comment with the recommendation that it expects planning to be consistent with the Perth and Peel Green Growth Plan.

Unfortunately, residents who have aspirations to subdivide will be impacted by the growth plan by adding more delays and unknown financial implications to any hope of urbanisation.

This Government has turned future planning for Wanneroo into a shambles and left many residents in further limbo.
