LAST Tuesday at about 3.45pm my husband was going for a jog along a beach when a small white poodle belonging to an Asian woman rushed in from about 10 metres away and bit his leg.
My husband's momentum added to the injury and the dog had another go.
The dog owner appeared not to speak English and did not offer help.

READ NOWThis attack resulted in a two-hour stint in the emergency department, thankfully a quiet time, and a tetanus injection.
My husband will require dressings to heal the wound for some time and has been prescribed antibiotics to assist in the healing because dog bites are likely to be infected.
Therefore please dog owners; stay on the dog beaches and if your dog is likely to bite, please restrain them for the safety of others.
