Extend freeway

I MUST congratulate Rainer Repke on his part in saving lot 971 in Kingsley. I also like the idea expressed in the July 1 edition to save bushland for native fauna.

However, the freeway needs to be extended. The population is increasing and transport is required for many years to come.

In addition, I doubt if raising the freeway would allow more nesting than a ground level road, and the price is too high when the State is in the red.

The Government should be warned that people will not pay a toll on a freeway, and will go on normal roads instead.

Mr Repke lives in Kingsley, he has got his freeway. He should not delay extending it to benefit those living further north!
