The public can help without fear of being identified. Information can help reveal the true picture of the activities of these gangs. A similar appeal in 2009 led to prosecution of 69 gang members on 189 charges, and seizure of drugs worth almost $11 million. A new gang was identified in WA, where there are nine known criminal bikie gangs and nominees in 27 chapters and 28 clubhouses. Investigations this year have resulted in seizure of multiple weapons, 6kg methylamphetamine, 709kg cannabis and 631g MDMA.
