Opinion: Election shows WA is sick of Robin Hood economics

GST is the pointy end of WA economics
GST is the pointy end of WA economics

THE people have spoken and we have a new State Government.

West Australians will speak again at the next Federal Election and teach the Government not to use WA as an ATM to fund other less productive states.

Unless there is GST reform then a number of high profile Liberal Ministers will be looking for new jobs.

Why should we produce 40 per cent of the nation’s wealth and be asked to borrow $40 billion to pay for the infrastructure needed to produce this wealth?

Robin Hood economics will no longer be tolerated and the government that ignores us will go the same way as our last State Government.
