Parking plea

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

RESIDENTS and visitors in Sinagra have been causing road havoc by parking illegally on narrow streets, especially Castroreale Boulevard.

On roads where there is little room and large properties with plenty of driveway, there needs to be a greater awareness of the other cars on the road.

Cars have been parked on opposite sides, causing a blind spot in the narrow channel left in the middle where oncoming traffic has been stuck, with one needing to back out.

In addition, many are being parked facing the wrong way, which is also dangerous.

Before it comes to an accident big enough to require legal intervention, or a handful of fines, can the locals and visitors start paying heed to the law and to their surroundings.

In this normally peaceful and friendly area, it is a shame to have conflict and fear over such a simple concept as following the law when parking.
