IN the second half of last year, our Community newspaper published an article about the escalators that were out of action at Warwick train station.
In response to a question about when they would both be operational again, the Public Transport Authority said the refurbishment would take about 11 weeks.
Since then we have not had a week when both escalators were working, much to the dismay of the paying passengers. Moreover, last Friday two escalators at Perth Underground station were also out of order.
When will Transperth get its act together and not subject the public to ongoing disruptions more associated with a Third World country than a booming capital city?
